Mark Your Calendars: November 29 - 48 Hours Mystery
« on: August 30, 2012, 08:16:46 PM »
This week, the CBS News Crew showed up for a second shoot to add more footage of my '73 Squire to their show.  Apparently, the first shoot created quite a sensation, so they have increased the emphasis on the Pinto in the show.   You may have seen from earlier posts that in the 70's, a yellow Pinto Squire was used as a get-away car in a murder.  A man was falsely accused of  being the driver of the Pinto, and he served many years in prison before being freed.

Saturday, November 29th is the night of the show.   If there's interest, perhaps we could meet up somewhere in a "mini Pinto meet" in So. Cal. to watch together?

I grew up in that area. Twice in this show you see the Temple City Sheriff station. Those guys were real bad and constantly harassed me and my white 72 Pinto. Does not surprise me one bit they did this to this guy.
