Made a fool of myself
« on: July 25, 2012, 09:46:16 PM »
Count me paranoid. My auto mechanic is next to a strip bar. At 5:30 I was driving by and saw my Bob still setting out front in the lot. I said to myself
"I am sure that he is not going to leave my car out side all night." But I could not help it. I called to remind him to park it inside. I know I seemed like a stupid worry wort but I could not help it.
My car is show quality, but if it wasn't I still could not imagine leaving it out in public for long periods of time. You folks who have daily drivers, doesn't it drive you crazy not to be sure your car is safe?
I will leave my New Yorker out anywhere, but not my Bob.

I have done the same thing when my wagon was getting fixed. The owner of the place actually got mad because he (and I quote) said "Oh, it's just a Pinto"  That was the first and last time I used that place

I can't get mad at my mechanic for leaving my Pinto outside because I can't even get him to fix the car, let alone park it inside.. Oh, wait a minute... I'm my mechanic. OOPS!!
