lost back in late 80's
« on: May 09, 2013, 02:38:07 PM »
i was just wondering if anybody in ca ever came across my custom. it was a dark blue metal flake (orgin lt blue),it was lowered and set on crager s/s wheels. it had french-ed elec antennas ,as well as  courtesy lights on b pillars.the most notable would have been the fact that it was a 2.3 from factory yet it had 2.8in it .the next notable was that it had a manual trans 4spd o/d to be exact .it also had home made headers and a manual choke 390 crm holly 2brl and a accell ignition last time i seen it was june 1989 in sf ca  at the time i built it it was both behind and a head of the times. it was sneaky it looked like a kiddie cruiser and played the part well , but the v6 and overdrive made it a slayer i sold it to the last person i raced he lived in santa cruz or wattsonville he had a sapphire blue iroc  he paid me 3,400 a hundred in 1s and 5s that was insane amount of money for a pinto then .
