We're looking to have our 1978 Pinto shipped to AZ and am in the process of getting quotes. There are a lot of bad reviews on the internet and horror stories of experiences with shipping cars cross country. Can anybody recommend a nationwide reliable car transport company??
Also, once it gets to AZ we will need to store it until we buy a house. We plan to look in the Mesa/Gilbert/Chandler area. For those of you who live in AZ, any ideas on good vehicle storage places for our blue baby? Enclosed is preferable over an open lot.
Thanks for reading!

The Pinto just got loaded into a covered carrier (ProLine Express) or its journey to AZ!
I asked Eric the driver if he has ever transported a pinto before and he said yes, in 2019 he transported 3 from Oklahoma to CA, one was orange, one was green, and one was blue. I connected the dots and it was Geraldine and Jade, so our 1978 blue baby is in good hands!

If you mentioned this before, sorry.  Were you guys moving here/snowbirds/selling the car to someone here?
If moving/snow birds, about where are you going to be located?
I'm in Glendale.

All things considered, that really isn't a bad price.

It got delivered to a vehicle storage lot in Mesa a few days ago. Not far from the Mesa Gateway airport.  We had 2 vehicles shipped to AZ, the Toyota shipped uncovered, the pinto covered.  They both are now sitting next to each other in the same lot and we'll pick them up in the next day or two when we return our rental van. We put the pinto's blue cover tarp on the front seat and the person who received the pinto covered it upon arrival. We're looking forward to driving it in AZ and getting a signature license plate for it as well.

Our AZ move

Looks like we're going to settle in Sun City West. That's where our home search is focused. In the meantime, our Pinto is enjoying frequent jaunts in the Chandler/Sun Lakes area, but on April 1 we'll be permanently up in Sun City West.
