looking for the history of this 1971 pinto
« on: January 16, 2013, 01:37:48 AM »
I'm not sure if this is the best spot to post this but here goes...

The picture info with this picture says "pintoman". Can anyone tell me more about this car? The pictures were removed from the site I linked to and got red X'ed so here they are again.

Thank you
Fozzy

I found one of the old ads, it has changed hands and is now for sale again. Some of the info between the two ads doesn't match.

Those pics are of that car as I remember it being when it was 1st for sale. If it still looks like that then only engine mods may have changed. Valve covers & scoop are the same as before

Its said to have a 347 in it now with 488's and a detroit. In all the pictures it appears to all look the same as it did before with the exception of some dress up stuff and the advertised price has gone up...
I wonder who he sold it to and when and how much out of curosity. I know that's alot to ask but being informed is always best.

Wasn't the original asking price 12K or something like that?

Well this one is sitting in my garage now  ;D ;D ;D It's a bundle of fun and gets tons of looks.

I'll start a new thread soon once I start doing a few things to it. But first I've got a couple transmissions to rebuild before I get to my own stuff.
