1980 Bobcat Sport
« on: January 29, 2015, 07:33:17 PM »
Hello I'm looking for any pics of a Bobcat Sport, I need to see how the stripes/etc were done and colors. My car was painted in the late 80's and painter tried to make it look correct...but way off!  Car is red/back, with red interior, so not shure what color tape stripes it had. Anything at this point would be helpful...than ks!

The photo below is from ebay and it was advertised as a 1979.  Not sure if these are the "Sport" stripes or even if they are stock.  If this is what you are looking for, I can post the four other saved photos.  Never notice before but the 79/80 Bobcat looks a lot like the Pinto except the logo says Mercury instead of Ford (no dual tail lights or distinctive hood like the earlier Bobcats).

I think I found what I'm looking for...just not a "real" photo, This would be a "Rallye" or "ESS" paint treatment, and got a lead from a friend today...her she is!
