Title: If this is out of line, please delete it
Post by: slowride on August 28, 2015, 11:18:48 AM
Though my Wagon is long gone, my collection of Pinto/2.3 parts remain. I'm moving on from the type of toys I used to build, so I just want to make everything I've collected available to people that can really use them. It's all gotta go, so I'm listing it all "OBO". Located in Anaheim, CA and prefer not to ship (especially a complete head assy!).
A few of the Pinto specific parts are:
2.3 D4 oval port head, used complete
2.3 intake and exh gaskets - new
Wagon wing
Turbo intake
38/38 weber
D4 intake
'74 NORS ignition switch

Genius! Posting the street, but not the exact address. This way a die hard car guy will wait until you open the garage door on Satuday to find the exact address. This sure helps to prevent people coming to the door at all hours of the day and night before the sale.  Saw something similar on my Sunbeam Tiger email forum. They were discussing C_llector C_r insurance and they deliberately misspelled the "Subject" so the comments weren't easily tracked by company searches.

Not a fan of posting personal details like address on the internet, and you're right.... I don't need people knocking on the door at 5am. The map is accurate so people shouldn't have an issue finding it. Hopefully car people are different than regular garage sale people. They scare the bejeezus out of me....
