I am installing a Motorcraft/Ford 2 barrel carburator on an Offenhauser intake manifold in my 1980 Pinto with a 2300 engine, will I have a problem with hood clearance, and if so what can I do to allow the hood close normally? If I need to modify the hood, where/who might I go to for another hood? Without going into the engine, other than the top part, what can I do further to give me more go power? I have the Offenhauser intake manifold and carb, an exhaust header and a roller cam with a competition grind?
