Probably not a bad deal compared to trying to piece together something from the junkyard.

Of course it probably wouldn't work on my car with no inner fender stuff. Maybe be able to make a bracket to attached to something, if I really wanted to.

Well, apparently they've been around for a long time.
Oh, well.
I'll just shut up now. :-[

i have one of these kits but never installed it yet. i like the idea of it on a windy day and not having the hood fly up and the prop rod come out and do some major damage to my show car. that would be bad!! i do plan to install it, just not sure i want to drill holes in the car!

I have no place for a prop rod, so if I don't make mine into a one piece tilt, I might have to see if I could fab a lower mounting spot for them.
Drilling holes in MY car isn't a concern. ;D Finding spots to drill especially up front would be the trick. ::)

I take it you don't have inner fender wells? if so I can see where that would be hard to mount the kit to. can you mount to the hood?

Correct.
Hood won't be a problem.
Thanks,

yeah that looks like it could be a problem making the lower mounts work. maybe weld a piece of flat stock to the tubes?

Yeah, will have to do something like that if I keep the hood the way it is. Using a broom handle for a hood prop is a pain.  ::)
