i actually did that in 1972 with mine! my mom thought (maybe she is right) i was crazy.
 
the tree was almost as long as the car.
the only substitute for cubic inches is BOOST!!!

This was also Advanced Auto's Facebook pic the other day, along with the caption of 'We think the Pinto was the biggest turkey of all time' or something to that effect. I'm boycotting. lol :)

You know, Kimmy, that's what I was thinking when I was taking these! It would be neat to do a calendar where a Pinto would kinda represent each month... like April, for instance, might have a Spring background maybe with mares and foals in the background... a Patriotic Pinto (or perhaps the ever-elusive Sprint model) for July... August would be a beach scene... October a scary Pinto (or anyway a black or purple one), November a fall scene with the trees in their Autumn glory and a nice Pinto in the foreground... you get the picture (get it!? ) Thank you, though...  ;D
