To answer some of your questions, I needed a square bore manifold to fit the throttle body of the kit. The 6114 manifold is supposed to help increase torque across the whole rpm band. You are correct in that I am putting an efi system on an old 2.3 Pinto. Realistically, I'm going to be driving it just as a normal car. As mentioned I may make it into a daily driver depending on how nice it turns out. I don't have a heavy foot, and the trans is a c3 auto, with the possibility of me putting in a a4ld to get the overdrive. I'm not sure about the rear axle ratio off the top of my head.
