I just can't get past the interior that rival's the wardrobe of the Griswold's "Cousin Eddie."  Sadly the end result is that basketcase Pinto's probably will command $5,000 because ONE Pinto sold for $33,000.  The recent asking price of the Herbeck collection seems a bargain if this is the future Pinto prices.

"Be careful what you wish for" seems to apply to car values. Sometimes the cost for parts, insurance etc. can negate the joy of seeing escalated prices.

I look forward to the Pinto's increase in value. Sadly with that I hate to have to buy one.

I have not heard from Hagerty yet and don't know the status of my car. I was shopping around today just to see if I could find one in good shape. That is how I found this one.  I am disabled now and am not capable of working on a car. I am proud of my car after all the work I have done. If I need to replace it now, I can not imagine I will feel proud of someone else's work.

That interior brings back some memories!  My mom bought a new 1977 Bobcat Villager wagon with that same plaid interior, only in red!  It was truly a "top-of-the-line" Bobcat!
