Hey! After10 months and many setbacks I got my baby girl on the road today! It's such a wonderful experience. I bought it from an ad by Barney here in Feb. Drove all the way from Atl. to Texas. I have replaced just about everything( didn't think I would) and just wanna say I have tappped into this site a million times for info. Hope the store gets restocked soon. Oh, and just want to say the dumbest thing ever told to me about my Pinto was that the rear hubs were designed LARGER than the front?!

Perhaps I was too quick to boast. An hour later I smell gas and investigate to find my NEW gas tank is leaking . Had never filled it all the way and it seems to be leaking from the seam. Grr.

sorry to hear... been there before... just when you think it's ready/done... something else comes up.

it's the fun part of owning old vehicles

absolutely. I had a 79 bobcat and this Pinto is my reincarnate car. But so many setbacks. The NEXT one will be easier!

I've had my Squire sitting around for about 7 years now. The drivetrain is done and I'm just waiting on the custom radiator at the moment. The interior is still needing to be done.I hope it's road ready by March or April. Been a long time coming.
