has anyone ever seen or heard of a all fiber glass body pinto funny car?!?! well when I bought my 72 runabout Saturday the guy has one!! said it came out of the Chicago area, looks pretty cool and is set up for a 460 bb ford!!

guy was willing to sell but for more then my pockets could and can afford - would be a fun toy but not street able so not for me!!

have pics if anyone is interested!! guy was asking $8000.00

let me know if this seems to be a real deal or some ones big piece of fiber glass!!

Very Nice.. But is it as Cool as the Mickey Thompson Pinto F/C with the Titanium frame.... (See HOT ROD magazine circa 1970) That would be over the Top in any garage collection. Imagine a Frame minus the driveline at 60 lbs!

WOULD BE A BLAS TO HAVE TO GO TO NOSTALGIC DRAG RACES!! EVEN WITH JUST A LITTLE 302 BULIT UP A LITTLE WOULD BE A ROCKET DOWN THE TRACK AND EASY TO FIX IF BROKEN!!

There were a whole bunch of them.  The picture you posted looks like an older funny car type chassis.  It might have been a late 60's chassis with an earlier 70's body.

this one keeps showing up on craigslist for short periods (past few years) in southern Minnesota, asking price is always above $20,000
