Speaking of books for christmas, I recieved a book titled;
THE FORD PINTO CASE---A Study in Applied Ethics,
Business, and Technology.  edited by Douglas Birsch and
John H. Fielder. I haven't got to read much, but I am not
 expecting much positive ink,  but we will see.     Dick
1980 Hatchback was a "Postal Unit" on the
west coast in it's early life. Now residing
in Ohio, But we don't haul the U.S. Mail anymore;
 Now all we do is HAUL!
 5th gear 4700 rpm & still pullin'= 113+  mph

 UPDATE-83.762 mph in 4th gear As verified by a W Va State Trooper-WITH 1 GEAR TO GO 6-2-11

Yeah you talk about a nice book. This book "Ford Yesterday & Today" is really interesting. Most all Ford cars ever built and cool facts about them (160 page hard back). My brother picked me up a copy of this a couple months after I got my car painted. I thought I was the first to have a Starsky theme Pinto. Chris spoke about how interesting it was that a Pinto was the first picture in the book. I also thought the first picture in the book was a good choice.
This first picture below is the first picture out of the book. The second picture below is my car only a week after being painted. Pinto Stampede 2012
Pretty close resemblance don't you think

If you truly were not aware such a thing existed and was offered by Ford, then your version is TOTALLY amazing!
