changing color of interior

My bobcat was that light lime green color. I just hated it. Please forgive me if you like it. I painted it yellow. The same yellow that the VW beetle is using. It looks just like I wanted. The green interior looks ok, but I want to change it to black. Has anyone used one of these products to change the color of the vinyl? If it works any easy ideas for the doing something with the cloth inserts?

I passed on a clean '66 Fairlane GT 390 4-speed car years ago because of the green interior. It's a personal taste thing. I can't stand the plaid inserts in my wagon either though the tan color everywhere else is fine. As long as you like it I wouldn't worry about it.

Vinyl dye works just fine on the dash, door panels, etc.  I'm sure it would be okay on the headliner too.  When it comes to the seats however, your best bet would be to reupholster - dying them will not hold up.  I did a complete color change (from red to blue) in an older F-150 pickup.  Had the seat recovered, then sprayed everything else, and it turned out great!  I kept the truck for about seven years after I did that and it still looked good when I sold it.
