First outing for the Squire
« on: March 15, 2012, 12:05:31 AM »
I finally have the Squire done enough to start hitting a few car shows with it. It's still a long way from being street driven but I can get it on and off the trailer under it's own power now so it's time to give the locals something new to look at! Saturday will be the 2nd annual Thunder in the Desert at the local Ford dealership. I attended this one last year with the drag car and they had a nice turnout of older Fords. They don't post a class that I would have any chance of winning a trophy in but that's not why I go. It never ceases to amaze me how many people stop and look at a Pinto and the facial expressions  :o  are a kick when they see a V8 stuffed in one.
