I've been away for quite a while, just popping in from time to time so l had no idea that Fred had passed.  :(  I see posts from members looking for parts that aren't available to buy anywhere so l was wondering if anyone knows what happened to Fred's Pinto salvage yard? Seems like he had most anything and at very fair prices.
What a great man and a huge loss to our Pinto community!!
If you don't have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?

Regarding Fred's cache of Pinto parts, I don't know.  But he really was a salt of the earth kind of guy.  I never bought from him but we swapped early for late Pinto brake/clutch pedals.  True to his word he brought them to Knott's and we did our exchange.  Not too many people would want to chase the California/Arizona desert for Pinto parts in their later years, but Fred did.
