Federal tires
« on: September 15, 2012, 08:13:26 PM »
Ok , I have had it with my Copper Cobras!I bought them three years ago new knowing they were discontinued.O n the May Pinto Stampede a belt shifted on the left rear. Since they are no longher avalible, I put on and old old I had . Then yesterday on the Northern Stampe to visit Cookieboy the right rear blew. I know there are now white letter 205 60 13 tires sold, I see FEDERAL  tires on ebay 205 60 13. Has any one bought any of these?

I try to stick to the name brands on tires.

If you want to go on the less expensive, look for those that are at a place that will not be going anywhere.  (pep boys, Big O...)  Just remember you typically get what you pay for.

Got the tires mounted and on the car. They balanced out fine and are smooth and quiet on the highway. I hope they hold up well.I would like to paint the sidewall letters white. Any one have good luck doing that?
