I finally got the exhaust on my 74 wagon connected to the new engine today. It runs great and is nice n quiet. Still have the check engine light on (yes I even wired that up!) but it is due to a couple minor things. EGR valve which has no vacuum lines run to it right now, and no VSS either. Also i believe the ignition control module is popping some codes, but its running great so I will leave it alone for now.
I will have to have a custom cable made for the speedometer probably. I think a VSS from a T5 will work in the pinto transmission, but the cable is different. And I believe a mustang cable will probably be too short.
The EGR will be no big deal. A couple vacuum lines and its done.
The ICM... well. Thats a $150 part and a couple screws holding it on. No biggie either, except for the cost. Like I said as long as its running fine, i'm not gonna worry about that.
