disc brakes standard?
« on: July 10, 2012, 03:11:11 PM »
Curious when disc brakes became standard on Pinto's (I do believe in later years they were standard but correct me if I'm wrong).  If I'm not mistaken it was in '74?  I'm starting to realize how special our wagon really is.  Grandfather ordered it from the factory with P/S, Power disc brakes, and A/C to boot.  I wonder how many cars were produced with all those options?

My '73 has non-power drums all around & my '74 was disc. I don't think I've ever seen a '74-up drum brake referenced ever.
