D-port or oval port heads in a '76
« on: January 07, 2013, 07:40:11 PM »
I'm wondering what kind of ports my head has in a '76 - are they D-port, oval, or something else.  I got an intake manifold with oval ports I thought would bolt right on, but now I'm not so sure.  I had a '76 and the intake is a dual port oval shaped offenhauser for a 4 barrel.  Thanks!

If the head is original, it should have oval ports.  This link may help.
