I got a link to the one you mention. That is the Pinto one.

The first one I posted is for a Mustang. Reason I was looking around for one is due to the small ball end on a Pinto cable, and big end on the clutch fork used for a V8.

I think it was Pinto5.0 that told me to weld a washer in place to make the fork end smaller.
But, a thicker cable with bigger ends would mean stronger.

I don't think anyones tryed one yet. If I found one at a scrap yard I was gonna try one. But I got a feeling they wont fit without modification to the cable.Cause the cable is prolly gonna be too long on the pedal side since its designed to be used on a quadrant. Also if ya get the mustang firewall adjuster for those same mustang its billet and nice that could help with the cable length a little also.
