Cars on State
« on: June 12, 2012, 02:25:37 PM »
On June 2nd I took part in an invational car show in Madison Wi called Cars on State. State Street is the main shopping area downtown. The street is closed for the show.I really enjoyed the show as there were thousands of people walking by looking at the cars, most of which are not "car people".Beiing it is right next to UW Madison there were lots of college students, most of whom have neve seen a Pinto. One of them grinning ear to ear wispered to me "you have the best car in the show".It was a non judged event, but each of the three originizers  gave out three subjective awards.I got one! My car reminded him that as a kid he had a toy Pinto.
