Calendar
« on: November 01, 2012, 07:14:47 PM »
Ok, I'm just wondering if people want a calendar this year? I replied to a calendar question post, asking what people think and it never got anymore responses. So I am thinking we probably wont have one this year. Or maybe I will make one of past photos?

[url]http://www.fordpinto.com/general-pinto-talk/is-there-going-to-be-a-2013-pinto-calendar-this-year[//url]

If I decide to make one anyway, if you want your car in it, email me at myhrdly@gmail.com

I will most likely do a picture only calendar. Meaning no need to send me info on it. Just send a pic. First 12 pics get in.

Becky, I want a good pic of your newest family member. :D Take the biggest size pic you can take. Also if you can't take a big one, send me several little pics! :D

Kim , I'd feel silly without my calender, and my wife's Cubicle would look naked without hers. Also let's get at least one competition pinto that is a racer in there if the guys will agree (Brian, , Jim ?)  Becky will always want one of hers in there ;) , and Fred could send his doing Burnouts in front of the Ford dealer  ;D  Just a suggestion, How about a pic of your "Pinto rack!" ;)

Unfortunitely my phone & computer replaced calanders in my life. I don't even put one up anymore. I'm betting that's the case with a lot of members.

Nope, not here... I STILL prefer hard copies. I'm old-school that way... ;D

Aww Kimmy, you got it! The new wagon doesn't have a "good side", per se... she's faded all over! However, I shall do my best... ;) Thank you for inviting another of my "herd members" into your wonderful calendar again! How soon do you need the picture?

I'd like to buy one too if you get it put together. I like the idea of Fred's burnout in front of the dealership. Nothing like some good Ol tire smoke to liven up a get together!

Let's try to get the photos coming in the next few weeks. I'll try to have the calendar done by first week in Dec. Hopefully that will be enough time to order and receive them by Jan.

Yah, I'll be putting Freds burnout in it! :D

I don't care what they look like. Someone named Brent just send me a couple pics of what looks like Pintos in a scrap yard burried in weeds. I'm using them! LOL Probably put them both on one page but not sure yet!

Hey Pinto Girl, that was me that sent the poor old pinto in the junkyard, I couldn't help myself! The closer I got to it the funnier it got! That poor car has been there since I was a teenager, and that was a long time ago! Looking forward to the calendar! Reddog (Brent and Tammy Head)

Ok, I have the calendar finished. Problem is, I can't seem to figure out how to save it in the store.  ???

CafePress is getting harder and harder to use. After designing the first calendar and not figuring out how to save it in the store, I went to the store and tried making one in there. That kind of worked, but I had to blow the photos up myself instead of their software doing it for me. Then after I published it in the main store, I tried to put it in the Charter Member store and it wouldn't let me. ???

So needless to say I tried to remove it from the main store and that deleted it all together! UHHHGGGGG

I now have an email into CafePress asking what is the deal with all this. Makes it really discouraging for trying to make things and sell them. :(

I'll keep you all updated on the progress.

Yah Scott, they really  have things kind of messed up. They have a new calendar maker for the main part, but it doesn't work with the stores. It is nice because it fits the pics to the pages. I don't have to resize them and the look pretty good (online anyway). There is something definitly wrong now with it though because no matter what you do to try to make a "new project" to sell, it takes you right back to that new calendar maker that doesn't allow you to save it in your store.

Thanks for keeping an eye out for an email. I didn't even think of that. LOL I just put in my email for them to contact me, but you never know, they may go to the default one!

Still haven't heard from them yet.  I did make one over at Zazzle but they are more expensive. They are 21 bucks. Cafe press is 17 or so for non charter members and 15 for members. So if you all can't wait for Cafepress to get their act together you can go get the same calendar from Zazzle.

Ok, heard from CafePress. So far the say they are sorry to here I am having this trouble, bla, bla, bla. LOL They say they need to look into it further and will contact me when they figure something out. I'll give it one more week and if they don't get back to me, I will make it the harder way. Just means I have to make it in the old software they have and also make it twice. One for the regular one for the charter member.

I'll let you all know when it is available in CafePres. In the mean time it is available in zazzle but it is more expensive there. It's up to you if you want to pay more or wait for Cafepress! :D

Ok, folks. The 2013 Calendars are done. The regular members can find them in the CafePres link to the left under the shout box. The Charter Members need to go to the Charter Member forum and go to the Cafepres sticky. Charter members get a little bit of a deal. :D

I tried to make them the same but may have got a couple pictures in different months. The CafePres calendars have a different picture in March compared to the zazzle. I forgot about Fred's pic in this thread when I made the zazzle one. So his is in the CafePres only!
