Alternate sport mirrors?
« on: March 09, 2012, 08:54:50 PM »
Are there any models of cars at U-Pull-It type places that have electric sport mirrors that look close enough to the originals to make good replacements for Pinto sport mirrors? Thanks!

That's a very good question. I'm thinking maybe some of the mid 80's GM cars have power mirrors that look identical to the sport mirrors on our cars. Like some of the GM G body's but I'm not 100% sure if they were power or not.

I went to the pull-a-part before the first stampede and spent about 4 hours hunting mirriors. Then went to Advance auto parts and bought a set of chrome plastic ones. They still look good.

But are they electric?
