72 Sprint sold at Lambrecht Chevrolet Auction
« on: September 28, 2013, 03:03:09 PM »
I am sure a lot of you have heard of the Lambrecht Chevrolet Auction in Nebraska. Well I just got home and started watching the bidding live when they auctioned off a 72 Pinto Sprint! It went for $650 to someone in Florida.Any one know who bought it?

Nothing that a good rotisserie and media blasting wouldn't cure. I say save all the Sprints, they are a RARE steed.

Was there a special grill, as well? That doesn't look like my 72's grill. :)

I will if my Dad comes through with the cast-offs from his nose-wrecked 2012 Ram. :) lol

Seriously, idk. It looks like every other 72 grill, but I couldn't blow up that pic. :) The one in the pic looks like the vertical bars are closer together or something. Idk.

there was no grill on the one at the auction!! interior was trashed, windows down the whole time it sat there!! i personally didnt see $650.00 worth of parts, but then to ship or even trailer down to fl!!  my guess is wanted title and vin tags to swap to a nicer cleaner 72 to make a sprint!!
good luck to all that bought cars at auction!!!!

I was bidding on it, until it went high. I could have drove there and got it. I was thinking about dropping a built up 2.3 in it.
