i`d be suspicious of the mileage .. when i look at a car i look at the gas and brake/clutch pedals ,, that brake pedal looks really worn for 60 grand miles .. and the seats arent stock are they ...and the price i hope is a bit  high ....

Would be very tough to let that one get away....
Price is a bit high, but I suppose that is relative to the person interested.  Super nice looking though.  My brother had one in the 80's that color....highl y modified giant killer 2.0.  He shoulda never sold that car :)

Yeah, it does look clean but who knows they don't I'm sure this is an estate sale since the owner died, and I'd say it has a lot of miles on the front and rear end it's a snowbird car there's tow hooks on the front and that area is full of snowbirds, the seats do look like they been redone they don't look factory, worn pedals can be a sign of high mileage but then again if it was just driven in town the pedals get way more use than highway driving so who knows there, I was thinking the price was a little high but wasn't sure?, but the big question is there any rust I've seen a lot of cars that have a real nice shell but don't dare step on the floor or you'll end up on the road, but if it's rust free and it runs good might be something nice to pick up, I'm gonna try and get over there tomorrow hopefully it'll be a nice one.

I'd be concerned about the tow hooks. Possibly towed behind a motor home & auto trans. being towed with the driveshaft in it would concern me. Cheaper price would be nice....

Unfortunately I didn't get to look at it today got tied up at the Doc's office. As I mentioned I'm positive it was towed a lot of miles the old guy was a snowbird, but they had to undo the drive shaft or it would have fried the tranny they tow like that all the time, price seems a little high but maybe they'd take an offer who knows..

Wow, that's weird. When I first loaded this thread your post about the tow hooks wasn't there. I thought everyone overlooked those...

I will gladly buy the bumpers from you if you get it, kind Sir! :D lol

The rear wheels make me wonder...is it just the wheels that have been swapped, or the entire rear-end? :)

Per the pedal comments...tha t brake pedal looks like the one I had in my (stock) 68 Galaxie...non-power-brake cars had all-black pedals, power had shiny inserts. They were proud of power brakes back in the day, when they were an option. :)

Edit: 'Disc', not so much 'power'. ;)

Edit 2: They did have a separate shiny for 'power disc'. http://thumbs4.ebaystatic.com/d/l225/pict/331034075747_1.jpg

Nahhh, I'm passing on it I found something else that caught my eye that may even be better. I doubt the rear end has been changed, it was just used when the moto got parked.

That's true but they still have it so I'm thinking they're holding out on it, maybe if I threaten them with cash in the hand they might come around, I also got my eye on a cool Falcon that's hard to pass up too, decisions, decisions, lol..

I don't care much for the rear wheels (because they don't match the front ones) or the front seats, but other than that the car looks fabulous! A tad pricey, though... but I'll wager it's rust-free!

One can never have too many Pintos!

It is rust free, main reason it's pricey.

I dunno, paying that much for a Pinto is still a lot. Although less than doing one I guess... It is pretty!

I can see that ;) I mean I don't know if it's worth it to be honest. Milo is perfect with very minor surface rust underneath, all I'll need to do is sand it and paint it :)

But I guess compared to a used late model car, that would be worth it!
