I have an idea for a really awesome 4bbl intake, IF you know someone with a machine shop.   The mid 80's rangers with the 2.3, some had a multiport fuel injection , that had a 2 piece intake. If you take and split the intake, the bottom half will have 4 holes, that look like a 4bbl intake for an equal flow system.  You would need to have some ears and filler materail welded onto this piece to match the mounting holes on the carb or spacer plate. But you would need a 4bbl that all venturis are the same size and they all open at the same time.   I did have one i was saving for this purpose some day, but i think I hid it too well, and now cant find it.
