351 CLEVELAND IN 1980 WAGON

(1/1)

BEDOWERS:
WHAT  WILL I HAVE DO DO TO PUT A CLEVELAND IN A 1980 WAGON. I HAVE TRIED TO READ  OLD POSTING BUT ALL I SEE IS TWO LEFT V8 MOUNT. AND IT WILL GO IN. IF SO WHERE DO YOU GET THE 8V MOUNTS. AND DO YOU MEAN THE ONES ON THE FRAME ,OR THE  ONE OFF THE MOTOR.   LEAD ME TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE GREAT PINTO SWAP . BILLYD HORRNET RACER

78pinto:
sorry, i'm not sure about the 351 cleveland, but the windsor will fit and they are alot cheaper to build, just my  2 cents.     Jeff

BEDOWERS:
THE CLEVELAND SETS ON THE SAME MOUNTS AS 289-351. SO PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU DID FOR MOUTER MOUNT. IF YOU PUT IN A 351W I CAN PUT A 531C IN THE SAME WAY. IT IS CHEAPER FOR ME BECAUSE I HAVE A CLEVELAND AND A PINTO. THE CLEVELAND ALSO HAS SAME BOLT PATTER ON TRANNY.
STILL LOOKING FOR HELP BILLYD

crazyhorse:
the 351C is a LOT taller than the 351W. the valve covers will barely clear the hood, so expect to trim all the bracing out from under it ,or else you won't be able to use it

78pinto:
Well i looked at my motor mounts, and this is what it looks like to me D72A-8B032-AA but it was hard to see them so i'm not 100% sure.     Jeff
