chrome trim
« on: August 28, 2012, 12:31:18 AM »
While reconditioning my 77 bobcat the hardest item to find was the NOS trim that outlines the wheel openings. Car doors bash into these in the parking lot. The ones that came on the car must of had 50 or more dings in them.
At an average cost of $150.00 each and six years of searching, I now have them. I have had them on the car for 3 year years. I am thinking of doing hotpants now. They are still in pristine condition. I want to make sure I can get the hotpants, then I will try to sell. If I can sell this chrome trim for the $600.00 I have in them, I can afford to buy the hotpants.
Is anyone interested in buying them?
Respond here, or send me a private message.
Thank you
Bill

the trim  is one and a half inches wide. The ford part # is D5FZ16038-9A
My original price list in 1977 has it at $7.65 I wish I could get im my time machine and buy a hundred of them.
