Got the 80 Rallye out today. It's been a late Sping here in MI. Waxed it and cleaned it up. She's all set ford Car Shows now. Here's a few Pictures.

The Ralley looks just as good as when you put it up for the Winter. 8)
What do you do to it to survive the winter in regards to it coming out ready to go. My cars sit for 6 to 8 months at a time and I alway have a heck of a time getting them up and going again.

Just fog the motor, plug exhaust, unhook battery, clean wax and cover it up. Turn key go, I had a lot of people twisting they necks today on my first drive. Kirk
-
Kirk, please explain, fog your motor :o
Thanks John
-
Fog, putting a spray oil down carb at a higher RPM <then shut it down for storage. Not much smokes alittle at first start up, but always has worked for me.
also always at Stabile to gas tank as well.

Everytime I log on here I look for new pictures of this car. Just takes me back to my high school days and my old Rallye. This car is the mint replica of mine except for black interior, which I always wanted. I swear...someda y I will own this car! :) If you ever sell...I want I want I want! :)
My old girl is STILL sitting in the weeds at my folks place...makes me sad everytime I see it as you can see daylight through the floorboards. Wisconsin road salt and a 16 year old (me) had our way with her and she is just throughly used up! My folks are on me pretty hard to scrap it...but i just dont have the heart. I have a feeling someday soon it just may be gone!

Thanks Mark.. I really injoy this car still only 34,000 on it and drives like new. I just love the Odd looks I get in it driving. People pointing, twisting necks,.... man these were a everday thing back in the 70's.
