1979/80 Rallye in Green??
« on: June 06, 2012, 09:52:19 AM »
If you've seen the 1980 sales brochure (which you can easily find on Cookieboy's website), you have seen the variants in Bright Bittersweet with the red/orange Rallye lettering & striping and the Silver Metallic with blue lettering & striping.

However, I have a copy of the 1980 Color and Trim Selections binder, and it mentions a third variant on the Rallye: green.

Has anyone either owned or seen this mythical third version? I would love to see a picture if anyone has one...

I found another printing of the 1979 Brochure (Jan 1979) which included the Rallyes! And wouldn't you know it, the Sporty Wagons section shows the Rallye in GREEN!
