What's it worth? '80 Cruising Wagon
« on: September 04, 2014, 08:28:35 PM »
Good evening all! Haven't posted to the forum in quite some time but always stop by to stalk. I wanted to gather some opinions outside of "it's worth what someone will pay..." I'm unfortunately having to part with my last acquired project and one of my favorites in light of a recent job loss... I have a 80 Cruising Wagon non AC with rally package. Have original wheels and interior is in decent driver condition....O ne crack in dash pad. Some small imperfections in headliner. Carpet has been removed and discarded. Seat Covers in great shape. ..small hole on driver side cover. All guages and lights work. Runs and shifts good. Stops. Needs floor pan repairs and driver side frame extension repair. Looks good from twenty feet...recent body work and repaint from prior owner. Would be an easy project for someone to finish. Have original build sheet, owners manual, original owners letter and response to/from ford. Just wanted to start some general conversation on a value range of an 80. I know it's tough to judge without pictures that I will post tomorrow when I get it cleaned up. I hate to part with it but haven't been able to monitor average sell price on these lately although they don't come up necessarily often. All Input and opinions welcome, hope everyone is doing well! Pictures Pictures and classified ad to follow...

Here are some pics. Has rust issues...needs work on floor pans in front and subframe rails. Was inspected and last driven on road last year. ran and drove well. All lights horn etc work. Body work and paint completed by previous owner. Fired right up after sitting for a year. Shifts good. Runs good. Looks good from 20 ft. Have original rally wheels in excellent shape.
