1974 Pinto 2.3 Exhaust Manifold
« on: May 26, 2014, 10:47:22 PM »
Looking for a replacement exhaust manifold and having a hard time finding one and have a couple of questions.

1)The car is a California car, is the exhaust manifold different then non-california cars?
2)Are there any other car/truck models with the 2.3 that will work on the Pinto?

Thanks for the help!

Wonder how they flow compared to the header??, I almost got one of them but I didn't want the weight..

Joe Escobar is running one on his race car. He posted pics & the aftermarket version is opened up like a header. The stock version has all kinds of restrictions & excess cast iron in it. It should flow as well or maybe better than the stainless header style one does. I have 3 headers already or I'd try one myself.
