Yet another backspacing/rim size question
« on: August 07, 2013, 10:41:02 PM »
I just got a shot at a set of 15" Weld Draglites for a really good price.  The rears are 8" wide with a 4.5" backspacing and have a set of MT 275/60 drag radials mounted.  The fronts...well. ...not worried about the fronts, as they're narrower than the ones I already have.  My car's a '72 with a Mustang II 8" rear.  Anybody know what kind of odds those rears have of clearing my leaf springs and fender lip?  Anybody running a similar set up?  I need to get more tire under the back of my car.....the 235 MT drag radials just aren't hooking...
