1974 Tail Light Wiring
« on: May 11, 2015, 08:40:40 PM »
My 1974 Pinto's tail lights recently went out and i cannot find the issue, i've replaced the harnesses and checked the light sensor and changed the bulbs. One rear light will turn on but it just stays on, so it does not work as a brake light or a turn signal. Does anyone have any ideas or have ran into a similar problem?

Believe it or not, you could have a short somewhere else in lighting system wiring.

Check all bulb and sockets..try a ground g wire from bulb housing to  metal in trunk.
