I just inherited a 1978 Wagon in great shape with 43k original miles. I would like to get a lot of items replaced and make it a daily driver. I'm hoping someone in the DFW area would be willing to make a little $$ on the side. I know I can take to a local shop, but I would rather someone who knows these cars do the work. I purchased a service manual for it, and I have most of the tools I need to do it myself. The truth is I travel a lot for work and just don't have the time or patience to do it myself.Thank you for the suggestions and help
BEWARE of the craigslist backyard mechanic. You wouldn't believe how much work we get fixing their work.
