Wiring harness unplug ?
« on: April 26, 2015, 11:41:38 AM »
Is there a trick or are they just old a stubborn, the harness under the hood has been played with to much and I'm planning on useing the harness from my parts car.
Seems simple enough but where it plugs in under the dash it will not come apart, any tips or secrets will be appreciated.

Thanks
 Tony

If talking the main firewall crossover point IIRC there a couple screws may have held the two halves together.

Yes it goes through the fire wall and plugs in under the dash

Bolt through the center, then two squeeze tabs : use care, they can break easily !

The bracket that holds this can be un-bolted & lowered so it's easier to see.
