Well thats relitive to what you have or want to do.

The oval ports tend to flow more on the intake side.

But the limitations of the D ports intakes makes them a little better since the D port reduces pudling of fuel they are better for daily driving. also the flat sections of the runners also raise the ports wich is better for fuel and air distrobution to the valve pocket.

If your looking for a Hotter 2.3L head the thing to wor is the restrictive exhaust ports. I have a few opinions about how to do this but it depends on if your racing or trying to get beter gasmilage.
