Driveshaft question with picture
« on: July 08, 2014, 01:32:07 AM »
Something tells me this isn't the stock Pinto shaft, but I could be wrong.
I know the engine (2.3l)is from something else, maybe the shaft came with it?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Russ

It has been a while..., but if I recall correctly my Turbo Coupe (T-5) had one of those small flywheel looking things on the shaft like yours does.  If you measure the shaft and then search around you may be able to determine what it came from.

Thanks.
Just wanted to verify it wasn't the Pinto one. Another thing to add to the have to buy list.

Why? If stub fits and shaft overall correct length use that sucker unless bent. The damper on stub means nothing. Thinking my M II had a damper like that.

I will check once I get a transmission.
I just always go on the premise that in my world things generally don't go that easily.  ;D
