I just pulled a front windshield from a 79-80 pinto. I noticed the there is only a rubber seal/strip in between window and dash. Where can I get a new replacement? How much are they?

I've never seen a source for these or place you can buy, they really never go bad and can be reused. Steel Rubber ( http://www.steelerubber.com/ ) might be worth checking out, they re-make many of the gaskets for the Pinto / Bobcat.

As far as I know there is no source for that piece of rubber. I assume you are wanting to replace it because of it shrinking? What I am going to do to my personal car is to add a piece from another car to fill in the gap. 79-80 models are the only ones with that lower rubber piece due to the glued in windshield.
