Which 2.3 followers are a better choice to use?
« on: August 13, 2012, 09:54:34 PM »
I'm about to buy the new followers to run with my used Esslinger 2264 cam.  It's a high vacuum hydraulic & the  specs at .495 lift 265 duration. It has 4 races on it & wear is non-existant.

I can get a set of Sealed Power followers for about 32 bucks. Comp Cams go for 55 bucks & Crane wants 90 bucks for them.

None of them have hardened pads & they are all quality manufacturers & I can't seem to find a reason NOT to use the 32 dollar set.

Has anyone got 1st hand experience at making this decision? I refuse to run cheap Ebay chinese knock-offs but I realy don't want pricey Esslinger versions either since I can't rule out swapping this cam after a few thousand miles if I don't like it's street manners.

I hope someone can shed some light here for me.
