Where do these hoses connect to?
« on: August 06, 2013, 11:22:39 PM »
I was looking under the hood of my car and noticed these two hoses just dangling down with all this black oil(?) or something and I was wondering if anyone knew where they connected at?

do they go through  the fender?  if so they could be from the fuel vapor canister.

On my '80 it is inside the fender, I put new hoses on it when I had the fender off. (Driver's side)

well they come through the fender into the engine compartment, so it looks like they would connect to something on the engine.

well they come through the fender into the engine compartment, so it looks like they would connect to something on the engine.

One usually goes to the bowl vent on the carb & the other to the fuel tank vent on the drivers side frame rail.
