wheel fitment issue
« on: April 10, 2012, 11:56:26 AM »
i have cobra rims being offered to me. but i do not think they will remotely fit with my pangra kit in the front or with my 8" rear. i just wanna get some wiser input before i spend money on rims that i cant use.

i would be okay with rolling the rear quarter panels and running fender flares all the way around. but my front is fiberglass, i feel very limited

Rim Info
17x9 with 225mm on the front  ... exact tire is 225/40/17
17x10.5 +24 offset and 245 on the rears 245/40/17

Below is the link to a picture of the exact rims

will they fit without god awful modifications?

if i was a betting man i would say no.   17x8 cobra rims from a 98 with factory offset, granada spindles and a 7/16 spacer just just make the stock fenders up front.   I have the same ones on the back with 275/40's but had to use an explorer diff to make it all fit and it is 59 1/2 flange to flange.   things are tight tight tight on both sides of the rear skins

i stuck a picture on reeves front air dam thread if you want to have a look
Modest beginnings start with the single blow of a horn man..    Now when you get through with this thing every dickhead in the world is gonna wanna own it.   Do you know anything at all about the internal combustion engine?
