What size wheel and tire work on a stock suspension?
What set up are you running?

I have a 77  sedan and like the “ magnum” wheel look.  Went with the Magnum 400 wheel that is available that fits the Pinto lug spacing(4x4.25).  Wanted to keep approximate  stock tire diameter so went with 185-60-15.  If you like the RWL look Radial ta’s come in 195-60-15.  Both sizes should keep stock speedometer accurate( assuming it already is). Based on my experience with a Mustang II ( but not on the Pinto), you could probably go with 205-60-15 tires with these wheels but would need to change the driven gear at the end of the speedometer cable by one tooth to keep the speedometer spot on.

ALL Pintos came with 13 inch wheels and tires.  Many people switched them up to 14" or 15", but the originals were 13".

I RUN AMERICAN RACING OUTLAW II 14x7 WHEELS , TIRES ARE 195/60-14 FRONT & 195/70-14 ON THE REAR.THE TALLER REARS GIVE IT A LITTLE LONGER LEGS WITH THE 3.55 GEAR,PLUS THE STANCE IS PERFECT.I GET A LOT OF COMMENTS ON THE WHEELS ALSO.

Another choice is to stick with the 13" rims and go to Coker tire.  They have P195/70-R13s in a passenger car tire (kinda pricy).  I just got some P205/60-R13 BF Goodrich Radial T/As for a Mustang II delivered to me last week from there.  These will lower the car about 10mm (which can be a plus in my opinion).   I have (2) Pintos, one is already on 14" rims - but it has flares, so I can't say if those will fit a stock suspension.  My other car will have 14" when completed (also not stock).  The 13s are still a possibility if you want to stay more stock looking (or have real cool period 13" rims, like my M-II)

Will mustang II wheels fit?
Offset?
Hub diameter?

Mustang IIs and Pintos share the same rims (all 13").   The Pintos even borrowed the Mustang II aluminum slot rims (with a slightly different wheel center).  I have a Cobra II that I got with Ford aluminum slots and when I looked closely the centers have the prancing Pinto pony and not the running Mustang.  The aluminum slots are sure a 70s period design.  I would personally stay away from the factory "steel styled wheel" as I have bent these.  They look kind of like a cheap Magnum - had these on my first car (79 Mercury Bobcat) and they were the original wheel for my Cobra II.
