What model is my 79?
« on: October 23, 2018, 11:36:14 PM »
It is supposedly an ESS according to the PO, but that doesn't show up when looking for parts.
79 Hatch 2.3 full glass hatch with moonroof.
Base? Pony? Squire? are all the options I ever see listed.
Not sure if it really matters, but want to be sure just in case there is a difference in some parts.
Thanks,
Russ

Well, according to the sales brochure I just found online
https://paintref.com/cgi-bin/brochuredisplay.cgi?year=1979&manuf=Ford&model=Pinto&smod=&page=1&scan=1
(also posted the link in the FAQ section)
My car IS an ESS model.
But a 3door runabout works too. :-)

I guess I should order a Marti report, even though about all that is stock on it is the sheet metal at this point. Just be neat to have.
Thanks,
Russ
