When I was racing down south, every one knew Wendell Scott at that time. That picture was made around 1967 and it looks like a stock Fairlane with decals. Best memory of him was at a cup race in NC, where he would get out of the car at each pit stop to help his kids do their work. He would lay down on the ground and look at the tires to see how much longer they would last. Drink a coke, and go back in the race. BTW that lean too behind the car was his only shop. He and his wife / kids lived in the house behind the lean too. A very long time ago in a period of time that will never be again. His grave is in Danville, VA, along with a major street name after him. RIP
