Is there a source for Pinto wagon gas tanks?  A friend was asking me, and we agree wagon tanks seem to be hard to get. Sedan tanks are everywhere.

All I know of is used or send yours out to get restored. I found mine in a salvage yard in Oklahoma.

I've got a used one I bought by mistake  :-[  its got a dent and is a little dirty but seems solid and leak-free.  message me if you're interested.  I still need to find one at a decent price for my hatchback.
Bought a 1978 hatchback to be my first car.

Clydesdale80 - I don't know what kind of budget you have to work with, but you can get a brand new Spectra Premium tank for a hatchback depending on the year of your Pinto.  They also sell new fuel tank sending units for certain years.  I'm lucky mine is a 76 and I was able to get a new tank and a new fuel sending unit.  Both were reasonable - a little over $200 for the gas tank and like $70 for the sending unit on Amazon.  The tanks are made in Canada (at least mine was), which also made me feel better about it (rather than say China).

I've seen the spectra tanks and that is my backup plan but if I can find a used one for less and that's salvageable I would rather go that route.
