Anyone know if these are good products, or maybe have another suggestion. The Cobra has been sitting since 1998 and I don't want to sit in there to do any work until I get the vinyl supple again. Would like to do the back seat in the Pinto also.

Sounds like a varient of the meguires vinyl and rubber protectent I have always used. Not to whiney, easy to apply, long lasting, and most importantly, protective!

Do you know if that will help with the prevention of cracks? The seats in the Mustang are perfect except a seam split in the front seat. This one is going to be outside while the Pinto and Maverick stay in the garage.

On vinyl that me and my brother have used it on, it keeps it soft and plyable.
On older "dry" vinyl, it seems to do an okay job at preventing further damage to already cracking vinyl. I use it in my 78 Sedan on the rear seat and the split at the top of the back cushion hasn't gotten any bigger since when I started using the stuff.

So Dave, you think I would be best getting that bulk stuff? I will be using a lot of it on all my vehicles.

I ordered a bunch of meguires, I'll try that.
